The dramatic Potter Estate in Newton and a grand old American Victorian house built in the 1860s. In 1921 the house became the property of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston. It was around this time an amazing wrap-around, wood paneled porch with copper ceiling panels and a gorgeous Chinese globe chandelier was added. Gerald Pomeroy Interiors had the good fortune to re-decorate this porch in an exceptionally tasteful way, with a respectful nod to the house’s lineage.

Celebrating the 45th Anniversary of Show House, the Junior League of Boston hosted the 2016 Decorators’ Show House at the 1854 Nathaniel Allen House in Newton, Massachusetts. Gerald Pomeroy was once again invited to use his many talents to decorate one of the splendid rooms in this charming house.
